Connor Murphy, 31, has contributed significantly to the team during the current season. He has recorded 13 points through one goal and 12 assists in 38 games. His performance places him third among the team's defensemen in both assists and overall points. Additionally, Murphy stands second on the team with 93 blocked shots and fifth with 70 hits. Notably, he played his 700th NHL game on November 29 against Minnesota.
The Blackhawks are scheduled to face off against the Florida Panthers today at Amerant Bank Arena. The match will commence at 1:00 p.m. ET/12:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted on ABC/ESPN+ and WGN Radio.
