The Chicago Blackhawks have released their promotional schedule for the 2025-26 season, marking the franchise’s centennial and a century of hockey in Chicago.
The season will open with red-carpet arrivals ahead of the home opener on October 11 against the Montreal Canadiens. The event, presented by Circa Sports, will take place along Madison Street, where fans can see current players and interact with alumni from various eras. The first 20,000 attendees at the United Center will receive a magnet schedule, also presented by Circa Sports. The team’s limited-edition Centennial jersey is now available for preorder on CBHShop.com and will make its debut during the home opener.
Throughout the season, four main chapters—each with themed nights and giveaways—will highlight different periods in Blackhawks history as part of the “Always an Original” centennial theme. Each chapter includes pregame ceremonies, alumni appearances, and other activities tied to that era.
The first chapter, “The Originals,” sponsored by American Express, honors early innovations and contributions to hockey made by Blackhawks players and leaders. Fans attending games on October 17 (vs. Vancouver) and November 15 (vs. Toronto) can receive bobbleheads featuring Stan Mikita and Tony Esposito respectively.
Chapter two, “The Madhouse,” presented by Ticketmaster, celebrates traditions from Chicago Stadium. Bobblehead giveaways for Denis Savard (November 23 vs. Colorado) and Chris Chelios (December 13 vs. Detroit) are scheduled for these nights.
“The Banner Years,” sponsored by United Airlines as chapter three, focuses on championship seasons including Stanley Cup wins in 1934, 1938, 1961, and especially the modern dynasty run between 2010–2015. Giveaways include Brent Seabrook (January 4 vs. Vegas) and Duncan Keith (January 17 vs. Boston) bobbleheads.
Chapter four is called “The Next Originals” and is sponsored by BMO. This segment highlights ongoing innovation in hockey culture and investment in young athletes. The signature night is March 6 against Vancouver with a Tommy Hawk bobblehead giveaway.
Other notable promotions this season include returning Player Pins gate giveaways for Spencer Knight (October 19), Alex Vlasic (November 30), and Frank Nazar (March 22). The Friday Night Hockey series returns across five dates including a game during Thanksgiving weekend; each Friday features a giveaway for early-arriving fans.
Special events throughout the year recognize holidays and community causes such as Military Appreciation Night (November 18), Native American Heritage Night (November 20), Hockey Fights Cancer Night presented by CIBC (January 25), Pride Night presented by BMO (February 2), St. Patrick’s Day (March 17), among others.
Full Season Ticket Memberships are currently available at Blackhawks.com/Membership; half-season memberships are also being offered while quarter-season plans require a deposit for priority access before partial plans go on sale August 15 to the public. Group tickets go on sale August 6 at 10 a.m., while single-game tickets are expected to be available in early September with presale access provided through sign-up at Blackhawks.com/Promos.
"From introducing the first goal horn to game-changing playing techniques, The Originals will spotlight the visionary players and leaders whose ingenuity and willingness to challenge convention established the Blackhawks as not just participants in hockey history, but as architects who shaped its very foundations."
"This final chapter will offer a glimpse into hockey's tomorrow, celebrating its evolution across culture, technology and community that will continue to redefine the sport."
