Traffic expected near Credit Union 1 Arena for Aug. 6-10 church services

Revival Ministry International is set to host Good News Chicago church services at Credit Union 1 Arena from Wednesday, August 6, through Sunday, August 10. The first service will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Starting Thursday, there will be two daily services: one from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and another from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. On Sunday, the event will start at 3 p.m.

The university has announced that heavy traffic is expected around Harrison Street and Racine Avenue during these dates. This may affect entry and exit times for parking lots in the area, including lots 1A and 1B as well as the Harrison Street Parking Structure.

Drivers planning to access campus or park in these lots are advised to allow extra time for their commute.

"Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this special event."
