Despite these measures, the university notes that cybercriminals are continually updating their tactics, making community vigilance crucial.
Common scams currently targeting members of the UIC community include pension-related fraud, deceptive requests for Duo two-factor authentication approvals, and messages containing malicious links. Technology Solutions encourages everyone to stay informed about these threats.
