Chicago Blackhawks announce local TV and radio schedule for 2025-26 NHL season

The Chicago Blackhawks have released their local broadcast schedule for the 2025-26 National Hockey League season. The announcement, made together with Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) and WGN Radio 720, outlines how fans can follow the team throughout the regular season.

According to the Blackhawks, 67 of their regular-season games will be televised locally on CHSN. WGN Radio will again serve as the radio rightsholder, providing coverage of all 82 regular-season games.

Fans in the Chicago area can stream locally broadcast games via the CHSN app, which is compatible with iOS, tvOS, Android, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Samsung TV and Vizio devices and offers a free seven-day trial. The network is also available through several major cable and streaming providers such as Comcast Xfinity, DirectTV, DirecTVStream, AT&T U-Verse, Fubo and RCN / Astound. Out-of-market fans will be able to watch all CHSN-aired games through ESPN+.

As previously announced by the team, "the Blackhawks will also appear on national television 15 times during the 2025-26 between ESPN, ESPN+ and TNT. Fans can access ESPN and TNT through their cable providers and can subscribe to ESPN+ to catch the seven ESPN+ exclusive broadcasts."

For additional information about viewing options or to use a tool that finds available options by zip code, fans are directed to visit Blackhawks.com/HowToWatch.

The broadcast team remains largely unchanged for the upcoming season. "Returning to the Blackhawks broadcast on CHSN is veteran play-by-play announcer Rick Ball, who will continue calling games alongside color analyst Darren Pang. The 2025-26 season marks Ball's second with the Blackhawks and 19th overall in an NHL broadcast booth. Pang returns for his third season as color analyst with the Blackhawks and 36th overall in his broadcasting career. He will also continue to serve as a lead analyst and ice-level reporter for TNT this season."

Studio coverage on CHSN includes Pat Boyle as host of "Blackhawks Countdown Live," joined by analysts Tony Granato and Caley Chelios for pre-game, intermission and post-game shows.

On radio broadcasts via WGN Radio 720, John Wiedeman returns as play-by-play announcer alongside Troy Murray for their twentieth season together. Charlie Roumeliotis will host pre- and post-game shows for a second year.

A full list of game dates along with their respective networks was included in today's release.
