UIC announces annual Employee Recognition Award Ceremony for November

The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) will hold its annual Employee Recognition Award Ceremony on Thursday, November 6. The event is scheduled to take place at the Isadore and Sadie Dorin Forum, located at 725 W. Roosevelt Road in Chicago. The ceremony will run from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., followed by a post-ceremony celebration with warm beverages and seasonal treats from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

During the event, UIC will recognize employees who have reached significant service milestones, including those celebrating 25, 30, 35, 40, and 45 years with the university. Additionally, recipients of several awards for outstanding performance in 2025 will be honored. These include the Award of Merit, Chancellor’s Academic Professional Excellence Award, Janice Watkins Award, Rising Star Award, and UI Health Recognition Awards.

All employees are invited to attend the ceremony. Participation is approved for benefit-eligible employees but remains subject to operational needs and prior supervisor approval.
