Chicago Blackhawks assign multiple players to AHL affiliate Rockford

The Chicago Blackhawks announced changes to their training camp roster on October 5, 2025. The team has assigned several players to the Rockford IceHogs, their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate. The list includes defensemen Nolan Allan, Taige Harding, and Kevin Korchinski; as well as forwards Ryan Greene, Gavin Hayes, Paul Ludwinski, Martin Misiak, Oliver Moore, Samuel Savoie, Aidan Thompson, and Dominic Toninato.

In addition to these assignments, the Blackhawks released three players from their professional tryout contracts. Defenseman Cavan Fitzgerald, forward Brett Seney, and goaltender Mitchell Weeks were also sent to Rockford.

The organization further assigned defenseman Ty Henry to the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

These moves are part of the team's process in finalizing its roster ahead of the upcoming NHL season.
