Chicago Blackhawks launch centennial sweepstakes with chance for free season tickets

The Chicago Blackhawks have announced the launch of their “Centennial Sweepstakes,” set to begin on Tuesday, September 16. The sweepstakes will take place at a special pop-up event in Chicago’s Union Station, where one participant will win a pair of 100-level full season tickets for the Blackhawks’ 2025-26 season. Additional prizes include tickets to major game nights during the centennial season and limited-edition Centennial jerseys.

Union Station, which is also marking its 100th anniversary this year, will be the exclusive site for entering the sweepstakes on Tuesday. The event is part of the team’s “Always an Original” campaign. Organizers highlighted Union Station’s historical significance in Chicago as an ideal location for the celebration.

Fans passing through Union Station’s Great Hall will encounter a 1920s-themed Blackhawks box office and other activities. At the pop-up box office, visitors can collect a commemorative Centennial ticket featuring a QR code for sweepstakes entry and access to a digital scratch-off to reveal any instant prizes.

Current Blackhawks players Connor Bedard, Spencer Knight, Frank Nazar, and Alex Vlasic (subject to change) are scheduled to appear at Union Station between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. to distribute commemorative tickets. Alumni Chris Chelios and Denis Savard will participate during the evening commute from 4 to 6 p.m., with mascot Tommy Hawk making appearances throughout the day.

Prizes available through the sweepstakes include:

- One pair of 100-level full season tickets for 2025-26

- One hundred pairs of tickets to featured games such as the Home Opener and all four Centennial Celebration Nights

- Ten replica Centennial jerseys
