The Chicago Blackhawks have announced the schedule and roster for the 2025 Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase. The event is set to take place at TRIA Rink at Treasure Island Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, on September 13 and 14. The Blackhawks will compete against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday at 6 p.m. CT and face the Minnesota Wild on Sunday at 3 p.m. CT.
Jared Nightingale, head coach of the Rockford IceHogs, along with his staff, will oversee practices and games during the showcase.
All practice sessions held at Fifth Third Arena are open to the public free of charge. A limited number of free tickets for each game are available to the public while supplies last, and registration is required for entry. TRIA Rink will open to spectators 30 minutes before each game begins.
For those unable to attend in person, all scrimmages will be streamed live on Blackhawks.com and through the Blackhawks app.
The roster for the prospect showcase includes a mix of forwards, defensemen, and goaltenders from various leagues such as the NHL, AHL, OHL, ECHL, KHL, WHL, HE, NCHC, BCHL, OUA, VHL, Big Ten, and others. Several players marked with an asterisk are eligible for selection in the 2025 NHL Draft.
The day-by-day schedule includes practice sessions at Fifth Third Arena starting Wednesday, September 10 through Saturday morning before competition begins that evening against St. Louis. All times and locations are subject to change.
