The University of Illinois Chicago has announced the start of a redesign project for its main website, uic.edu. The initiative is being led by Strategic Marketing and Communications, with the goal of improving how the university connects with both current and prospective students and enhancing UIC’s overall reputation.
As part of this process, the university has launched a survey aimed at gathering feedback from current students about their experiences using the UIC website. The survey will remain open until September 24 and is expected to take less than ten minutes to complete.
"This effort will strengthen how we connect with current and prospective students, tell our collective story and elevate UIC’s reputation," according to the announcement. "This is a collaborative journey — one designed for us to listen, learn and reflect the perspectives of our students, faculty and staff as we envision the future of UIC’s web presence."
The university emphasized that input from its community will play an important role in shaping how it communicates its story both locally in Chicago and more broadly.
"Your voices and insights will shape how we share UIC’s story in Chicago and beyond," the statement read.
