Blackhawks reassign Korchinski and Levshunov to IceHogs

The Chicago Blackhawks have announced the reassignment of Kevin Korchinski and Artyom Levshunov to the Rockford IceHogs in the American Hockey League.

Korchinski, aged 20, participated in 16 games with the Blackhawks in the 2024-25 season, accruing two points with one goal and one assist. In the AHL, he has accumulated 27 points, consisting of 3 goals and 24 assists, in 54 games with the IceHogs. His performance leads the Rockford defense in assists and total points, and he is tied for third in goals.

Levshunov, who is 19 years old, contributed six assists over 18 games for Chicago this season. His NHL debut occurred on March 10 against Colorado, where he recorded his first point with an assist on March 15 in a game at Vancouver. Throughout 50 AHL games with the IceHogs this season, Levshunov registered 22 points from 5 goals and 17 assists. He ranks second among Rockford defensemen in goals, assists, and total points.
