The Chicago Blackhawks have announced changes to their roster, with defenseman Louis Crevier being recalled from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. This move comes as forward Philipp Kurashev is placed on injured reserve due to a hand injury, effective retroactively from February 27.
Louis Crevier, aged 23, has participated in 23 NHL games with the Blackhawks during the current season. In these appearances, he has achieved three goals, four points, and accumulated 47 hits. Notably, Crevier scored his first career NHL goal on November 27 against Dallas. Additionally, he has played in 15 AHL games with Rockford this season, contributing four points (one goal and three assists).
Philipp Kurashev, who is 25 years old, has recorded ten points (six goals and four assists) in 42 games for Chicago this season. He reached a significant milestone by skating in his 300th NHL game on January 26 against Minnesota. This achievement made him the eleventh Swiss-born player in NHL history to reach this milestone.
The Chicago Blackhawks are set to face off against the Los Angeles Kings tomorrow at the United Center at 7:30 p.m. CT. Fans can watch the game on CHSN or listen via WGN Radio and Latino Media Network radio on 1200 WRTO-AM.
