Blackhawks recall forward Colton Dach from Rockford IceHogs

The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled forward Colton Dach from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Dach, 22, has contributed four points (1G, 3A) in 13 NHL games with the Blackhawks this season. He made his NHL debut on January 3 against Montreal, achieving team highs with five shots on goal and five hits. Dach earned his first career NHL point with an assist on January 8 against Colorado. Additionally, he has participated in 33 AHL games with Rockford in the 2024-25 season, ranking third on the team with 12 goals and tied for third with 26 points (12G, 14A).

The player stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 196 pounds. He hails from St. Albert, Alberta and was originally selected by Chicago in the second round (62nd overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft.

The Chicago Blackhawks are scheduled to play against the Utah Hockey Club tomorrow at Delta Center at 8:00 p.m. CT/7:00 p.m. MT. The game will be broadcasted on CHSN and available on WGN Radio.
