Blackhawks recall Artyom Levshunov; Louis Crevier placed on injured reserve

The Chicago Blackhawks have announced the recall of defenseman Artyom Levshunov from the Rockford IceHogs, their affiliate in the American Hockey League. This move coincides with placing defenseman Louis Crevier on injured reserve due to concussion protocol, effective retroactively from February 1.

Levshunov, a 19-year-old player, has participated in 38 games with the IceHogs during the current season. He ranks second among club defensemen in goals (3), assists (10), and points (13). Additionally, he leads all league rookies and is second on his team with 112 shots on goal this season. Levshunov recorded an assist for his first professional point on October 26 against Manitoba and scored his first goal on November 8 versus Grand Rapids.
