The Chicago Blackhawks have announced the recall of defenseman Louis Crevier from the Rockford IceHogs, their affiliate in the American Hockey League. This move comes as fellow defenseman Seth Jones has been placed on injured reserve due to a right foot injury, effective retroactively from November 14.
Crevier, aged 23, has participated in 11 games with Rockford this season and contributed one assist. In the previous 2023-24 season, he played in 24 games for the Blackhawks and recorded three assists. He also appeared in 41 regular-season games with the IceHogs last year, accumulating a total of 11 points through three goals and eight assists. Furthermore, Crevier took part in four Calder Cup Playoff games with Rockford during that same season.
The Blackhawks are scheduled to face off against the Vancouver Canucks tonight at Rogers Arena. The game will begin at 7:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on CHSN while also being available on WGN Radio.
