The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) is initiating its Campus Climate Survey as part of its efforts to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion. This survey is aimed at gathering insights from the university community to inform these initiatives.
The survey, which is confidential and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete, invites students, faculty, and staff to share their experiences and perceptions of the campus environment. The feedback will be used to identify strengths and areas for improvement within the university's culture.
An independent third-party research firm will administer the survey to ensure confidentiality. Starting Thursday, Oct. 10, participants should expect an email invitation from surveys@srsv.com. Additionally, participants will have a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card.
Supervisors are encouraged to allow staff the necessary time and resources to complete the survey.
For further details, individuals can visit the UIC All Campus Climate Survey website.
"Your insights are invaluable as we seek to inform and improve our diversity, equity and inclusion efforts at UIC," stated Karen Colley, PhD, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
Charu Thakral, PhD, Interim Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity and Engagement added that participation will "help us identify strengths, areas for improvement and the actions we can take together to enhance our university culture."
