Northwestern seeks public assistance in search for missing professor Nina Kraus

Northwestern University has announced that Professor Nina Kraus from the School of Communication was reported missing by her family on Monday, September 1. According to university officials, she was last seen leaving her residence on the 1500 block of Ashland Avenue in Evanston at approximately 9 a.m.

The Evanston Police Department is currently leading the investigation into Professor Kraus’s disappearance, with support from the Northwestern University Police Department. The university has requested assistance from the community and urged anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the Evanston Police Department at 847-866-5000.

“The University is hopeful that with the community’s help, we can find Professor Kraus and assure her safety.”

Northwestern stated it will provide updates as new information becomes available.
