The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) is offering a series of free professional development webinars for its staff and faculty throughout December. The sessions are designed to address topics such as workplace culture, communication skills, work-life balance, happiness, mindfulness, and leadership.

The general webinar schedule includes:

- "We Are Customers to Each Other: Building a Culture of Respect and Collaboration" at 11 a.m. on December 3.

- "Listen, Validate, Connect: Mastering the Skills for Stronger Relationships" at 11 a.m. on December 4.

- "Work-Life Integration: Thrive Without Compromise" at 2 p.m. on December 9.

- "Cultivating Joy: The Science and Art of Happiness" at 11 a.m. on December 11.

- "The Power of Mindfulness" at 2 p.m. on December 16.

- "Mindful Listening: Enhancing Communication and Connection" at 11 a.m. on December 18.

Additional webinars are tailored for supervisors and human resources representatives:

- "Active Listening for Coaching" at 1 p.m. on December 3.

- "*New* Using Managerial Competencies at UIC" at 1 p.m. on December 4.

- "Value Over Ego: Preventing Ego-Driven Leadership and Counterproductive Work Behaviors" at 11 a.m. on December 9.

- "Leading for Impact: Reducing Counterproductive Behaviors and Building Stronger Teams" at 1 p.m. on December 11.

- "Using Coaching to Strengthen Professional Relationships and Team Performance" at 10:30 a.m. on December 16.
