UIC announces SparkTalks event featuring brief presentations from campus changemakers

The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) will host SparkTalks, an event featuring 36 presenters who will each deliver three-minute talks. The event is scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 1:30 to 4:45 p.m. at the Student Center East in the Illinois Room. Doors will open at 1 p.m., and a reception will follow.

SparkTalks aims to showcase influential UIC community members as they share ideas and solutions intended to inspire positive change. The program is supported by the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs, and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research.

A subsequent SparkTalks event is planned for January 15, 2026.
