Loose panels prompt repairs at student recreational facility

During a recent inspection of the Student Recreation Facility, loose metal panels were found on the building's exterior facade. To address this issue, architects and engineers conducted a follow-up inspection.

A contractor was engaged to manage the removal, repair, and reinstallation of these panels. In addition, a protective canopy is being constructed at the facility's base as a precaution while a permanent solution is developed by the team.

The construction of the canopy began on February 28 and will remain in place until further notice. Updates regarding the repair plan and construction timeline will be communicated to the campus community once finalized.
