The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) has announced the winners of its 2024-25 Teaching Recognition Program. This program acknowledges faculty members who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to teaching over the past three academic years. It is open to all tenured, tenure-track, and non-tenure-track faculty at UIC.
Recipients of this award receive a $1,500 increase to their annual base salary. The program is administered by faculty and offered through the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
This year's awardees come from various colleges within UIC, including the College of Dentistry, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Jane Addams College of Social Work, College of Nursing, College of Applied Health Sciences, Honors College/University Library, School of Public Health, College of Education, and College of Engineering.
