The Chicago Blackhawks are set to host their annual red carpet event for the 2024-25 home opener against the San Jose Sharks. The event will take place on Thursday, October 17, at the United Center. Presented by Circa Sports, the red carpet arrivals will occur along Madison Street, which will be closed to traffic for this occasion.

Fans will have the opportunity to see players arrive for their first home game of the season. The pregame celebrations will feature live music from "Gold Coast All Stars," appearances by Blackhawks alumni, broadcasters, and Tommy Hawk.

Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy entertainment and secure a spot along Madison Street. Outdoor bars and viewing areas will open at 3:30 p.m., while parking in designated lots A, D, F, and K opens at 3:00 p.m. The first celebrity arrivals on the red carpet are expected around 5:00 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the Atrium will open early as an alternative venue.

Following the red carpet event, United Center gates and Atrium doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for ticketed fans. Additional pregame activities and special food and beverage options will be available.

With a game start time of 7:30 p.m., attendees are advised to be seated by 7:00 p.m. to experience the opening show inside the arena, including full roster introductions.
