Village of Homewood will be having several Indoor Farmers Markets featuring many different vendors.
The annual Indoor Farmers Market that is held in the Village of Homewood has returned this year at a new location. According to Homewood Village, the markets will take place at the H-F Auditorium, which is located at 2010 Chestnut Road. Upcoming dates are: Saturday, Feb. 25; March 25; and April 29 from 8 a.m. to noon each day.
At the Indoor Farmers Market, vendors will sell a wide variety of goods, including microgreens, baked goods, food to go, handmade crafts and other items. According to Homewood Village, some of the featured vendors include Taproot Farms, which specializes in microgreens; Blue Pearl Candle, which sells soy candles; One Special Gift, which specializes in handmade jewelry; Confections, which sells cakes and pies; and Sonoma Farm, in addition to many other vendors.
The Indoor Farmers Market this year will also feature a variety of forms of entertainment. Flowering Dogwood Martial Arts will put on live performances at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m. Participants must be at least 13 years old to take part in the in-person Sugawara-ha Katori Shinto Ryu classes that are offered at Flowering Dogwood Martial Arts Way in University Park. In addition, those who are interested will have the opportunity to have their faces painted.
