Morgan Street is undergoing resurfacing work between Roosevelt Road and West 14th Street, according to the City of Chicago Department of Transportation. The project began in early November and is expected to continue until the end of the month.
The work includes milling and resurfacing the street. Vehicle lanes will generally remain open, but there may be times when traffic is reduced to one lane for safety reasons. Crews will be present to direct vehicles, and signage will alert drivers to changes. Parking restrictions are possible during construction, with No Parking signs posted as needed.
Minor disruptions to vehicle travel are anticipated throughout the duration of the project. Drivers are advised to use caution while traveling in this area.
