Marie Lynn Miranda UIC Chancellor | University Of Illinois At Chicago

Chancellor Marie Lynn Miranda has initiated the search for the next provost at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), partnering with Russell Reynolds Associates, an external executive search firm. Joi Hayes-Scott, a consultant from Russell Reynolds, will participate in upcoming town hall meetings to discuss the search process.

Two UIC Senate Town Hall sessions are scheduled for Friday, October 17. The first will be held in person from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Cardinal Room at UIC Student Center East, located at 750 S. Halsted St. The second session will take place virtually via Zoom from 4 to 5 p.m.

These town halls provide an opportunity for members of the university community to engage with leadership and offer input on the selection of UIC’s next provost.

"Chancellor Miranda has launched a search for UIC’s next provost and has engaged with the external search firm Russell Reynolds Associates. The search consultant from Russell Reynolds, Joi Hayes-Scott, will be present at the town halls."
