Blackhawks reduce training camp roster to 38 players

The Chicago Blackhawks have announced changes to their training camp roster, reducing the number of players to 38. The moves include releasing forward Jackson Cates from his professional tryout and assigning him to the Rockford IceHogs in the American Hockey League (AHL). Forwards Gavin Hayes and Martin Misiak, along with goaltender Stanislav Berezhnoy, were also assigned to Rockford.

With these transactions, the training camp roster now consists of 21 forwards, 12 defensemen, and five goaltenders.
