Blackhawks trim training camp roster down to 42 players

The Chicago Blackhawks announced changes to their training camp roster, reducing the number of players to 42. The updated group consists of 24 forwards, 12 defensemen, and six goaltenders.

As part of the transactions, Brett Seney (forward), Cavan Fitzgerald (defenseman), and Andrew Perrott (defenseman) were released from their professional tryout contracts and assigned to Rockford in the American Hockey League (AHL). In addition, Paul Ludwinski (forward), Taige Harding (defenseman), Dmitry Kuzmin (defenseman), and Ryan Mast (defenseman) were also assigned to Rockford.
