The University of Illinois at Chicago has announced the Fall 2025 President’s Research Travel Assistance Program, which will provide up to $600 in funding for each of 10 students. The award is designed to support travel to professional conferences between October 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026. Recipients are expected to present papers, posters, or creative work focused on issues related to representation.

Eligible research areas include topics such as socioeconomic status, rural versus urban experiences, race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, and national origin. The program also considers projects that address barriers to participation and success, disparities in access to opportunities and resources, and the inclusion of diverse perspectives and lived experiences.
