UIC expects full parking lots and heavy traffic at start of fall semester

Marie Lynn Miranda UIC Chancellor | University Of Illinois At Chicago

The University of Illinois Chicago is preparing for increased traffic in its parking facilities and nearby streets during the first two weeks of the fall semester. The university anticipates that campus parking locations will reach full capacity, resulting in closures to those without current parking assignments.

To help manage access, UIC is reminding users to display a valid UIC parking hangtag when entering any lot. The university is also asking drivers to be patient and to drive safely while following all posted directional signs on campus.
