Change is a constant in the business world, and how leaders manage it can shape a company's future. In today's rapidly evolving environment, effective leadership involves more than just responding to market changes.
The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce recently engaged with Dave Tovar, Senior Vice President of Communications & Government Relations at Grubhub, to discuss leadership during times of change. With extensive experience in corporate strategy, public relations, and government affairs, Tovar shared his thoughts on maintaining stability for stakeholders such as investors, employees, customers, and business partners.
"Why is leading through change such a critical focus for business leaders today?" he was asked. Other questions included: "During significant change, how do you prioritize communication to build trust with investors, employees, customers, and partners?" and "How do you ensure your company has the necessary resources to stay connected and responsive to stakeholder needs and concerns?"
Tovar also discussed adapting engagement strategies effectively during periods of change.
