The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce recently hosted their annual networking event, known as "The Exchange," inside the historic columns of Soldier Field. The event attracted over 750 participants from across the business community in Chicago, making it the Chamber’s largest networking event of the year.
Participants had the opportunity to explore two levels of activities within the stadium's club space. With a diverse range of exhibitors, from large corporations to startups, creative agencies to non-profits, the event offered a platform for interaction among a broad cross-section of industries.
The event was officially opened in the North Temple Gate Room by officials who emphasized the importance of fostering strong business connections in the Chicagoland area. Jack Lavin, from the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, participated in setting the collaborative tone.
Over 100 businesses showcased their products, services, and ideas on the showcase floor, which acted as a marketplace of opportunity. A food and drink section, presented by various local vendors, featured a variety of offerings including empanadas, egg rolls, pizza, and pastries.
The event included two main sessions addressing workforce and health insurance dynamics. Thomas Vick and Kieran Costello led a session on workplace trends, talent retention, and emerging strategies, while Marcus Newman hosted a session on the current health insurance landscape and strategies for providing benefits.
Upstairs, LinkedIn facilitated speed networking sessions that connected participants based on their industry interests. Additionally, LinkedIn supported the local business community by offering $40K in advertisement credits.
The Exchange 2025 highlighted the vibrant business spirit of the Chicago community, characterized by the sight of interactions and exchanges echoing through the stadium.
