Blackhawks recall defenseman Kevin Korchinski from IceHogs

The Chicago Blackhawks have announced the recall of defenseman Kevin Korchinski from the Rockford IceHogs, their American Hockey League affiliate. Korchinski, at 20 years of age, has previously played nine games with the Blackhawks during the current 2024-25 season. He has also participated in 54 games with the IceHogs, contributing 27 points comprised of three goals and 24 assists. Among Rockford blueliners, Korchinski leads in both his assist and point totals. Additionally, his 24 assists rank third among all Rockford club skaters.

The Chicago Blackhawks are set to face the Vegas Golden Knights at the United Center. The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on CHSN, WGN Radio, and available in Spanish on Latino Media Network radio, 1200 WRTO-AM.
