UIC hosts workshop on simplifying social media strategy

The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) is hosting an event titled "Social Strategy Simplified: Hands-On Goal Setting, Content Planning and Measurement Made Easy" on April 9. This workshop, part of the Circles of Excellence series, aims to assist participants in developing a practical social media strategy for their respective colleges, schools, or units.

Led by Strategic Marketing and Communications, the session promises a hands-on approach to creating an actionable social media plan. Participants will explore key content areas that resonate with their audiences and learn how to measure success effectively. The event is designed for campus social media managers, marketers, and communicators seeking to either establish or refine their strategies.

The workshop will take place in person at Fort Dearborn AB at Student Center East from 1-2:30 p.m., followed by a networking session with refreshments. Advance registration is necessary for those wishing to attend.

Additionally, UIC announced the next Circles of Excellence event focusing on digital engagement through email marketing scheduled for August 7. Interested individuals can contact smcs@uic.edu for more information.
