Jason Dickinson returns as Blackhawks prepare for matchup against Avalanche

The Chicago Blackhawks have announced that forward Jason Dickinson has been activated from injured reserve. Dickinson, who had been sidelined due to a left ankle injury, is set to return to the lineup as the team prepares for its upcoming game against the Colorado Avalanche.

The 29-year-old forward has played in 53 games during the 2024-25 season, contributing 16 points with seven goals and nine assists. He ranks third on the team in hits with 93 and leads all club forwards with 49 blocked shots. As he returns to action, Dickinson is just four games away from reaching his 500th NHL career game.

The Blackhawks will face off against the Avalanche at Ball Arena in Denver. The game is scheduled for tonight at 7:00 p.m. MT/8:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on CHSN+ and WGN Radio.
