UIC invites participation in undergraduate research forum during annual research week

Peter C. Nelson Dean of College of Engineering | University Of Illinois At Chicago

The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) is preparing for its upcoming Undergraduate Research Forum, an event that highlights student research across various disciplines. The forum is sponsored by multiple UIC entities including the Office of Academic Programs, Student Success, and Effectiveness; the Office of the Provost; the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research; the Honors College; the University Library; and the UIC Alumni Association. It forms part of UIC Research Week, a yearly celebration of academic efforts by faculty, staff, students, and research trainees.

Undergraduate students engaged in research or scholarly projects under UIC faculty supervision are encouraged to participate in this event. Registration for student presenters is open until April 2, 2025. Interested students should use the designated sign-up form.

Additionally, faculty members, staff, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students are invited to volunteer as judges. Their role is essential to both the success of the event and to support student presenters. Judge registration will also close on April 2, 2025.
