UIC prepares for annual Undergraduate Research Forum in April

Peter C. Nelson Dean of College of Engineering | University Of Illinois At Chicago

The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) is set to host its annual Undergraduate Research Forum on April 21, 2025. This event, organized by several UIC offices and associations, aims to highlight the research efforts of undergraduate students across various disciplines.

The forum will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at the UIC Dorin Forum located at 725 W. Roosevelt Road. It serves as a platform for students involved in research or creative inquiry projects to present their work.

"This important campuswide event — led by the Office of Academic Programs, Student Success, and Effectiveness; the Office of the Provost; the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research; the Honors College; and the UIC Alumni Association — showcases undergraduate student research covering a broad range of scholarship across a variety of disciplines."

Further details about registration for students and opportunities for faculty, staff, graduate students, and alumni to participate as judges will be provided later.

The Undergraduate Research Forum is part of UIC Research Week, which celebrates and shares the accomplishments of faculty, staff, students, and research trainees. The university anticipates active participation in this weeklong celebration.

"We look forward to your participation in this weeklong celebration of UIC’s research community."
