As the Biden Administration concludes, Northwestern University economist Kirabo Jackson, a former member of President Biden’s Council of Economic Advisers (CEA), is set to discuss his experiences and insights from his time at the White House.
Jackson will engage in an hour-long conversation with Andrew V. Papachristos, director of Northwestern’s Institute for Policy Research (IPR) and John G. Searle Professor of Sociology. The discussion will cover various topics including the economy under Biden's administration, differences between policy work and academia, and challenges faced during his tenure in the White House.
The event is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9 at the Kellogg Global Hub in Evanston. Media representatives are invited to attend but must RSVP by Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 5 p.m.
