The Chicago Blackhawks have announced the recall of defenseman Wyatt Kaiser from the Rockford IceHogs in the American Hockey League. In a corresponding move, defenseman Kevin Korchinski has been assigned to Rockford.
Kaiser, 22, has participated in 28 games with the Blackhawks during the 2024-25 season. He has recorded one assist and is third on the team with 54 blocked shots. Among team defensemen, he ranks fourth with 32 shots on goal and has made 33 hits, setting new career highs in these categories. Additionally, Kaiser contributed one assist in four AHL games with the IceHogs this season.
The Chicago Blackhawks are set to play against the Dallas Stars at the United Center tonight at 7:30 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and WGN Radio, with Spanish commentary available on Latino Media Network radio, 1200 WRTO-AM.
