Renowned scholars from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business are set to discuss global economic impacts at the 2024 Economic Outlook events. Scheduled for December 3rd and 4th, these events will take place in Chicago and New York.
This year's theme, "Risks and Opportunities: The Impact of Geopolitics and the Fed on the Economy," will guide discussions led by Professors Randall S. Kroszner, Yueran Ma, and Raghuram Rajan. They will explore issues such as inflation, interest rates, deficits, the upcoming presidential election, and relations with China. Kathleen Hays, founder and editor-in-chief of Central Bank Central, will moderate the sessions.
The Economic Outlook series began in 1954 at Chicago Booth. It has become a tradition where leading scholars address future challenges, evaluate trends, and provide insights into global economic developments.
