The Chicago Blackhawks have confirmed the activation of defenseman Alec Martinez from injured reserve. Martinez, who has been dealing with a right groin injury, is set to rejoin the team.
At 37 years old, Martinez has participated in four games for Chicago during the current 2024-25 season and has registered one assist. His first point as a member of the Blackhawks was recorded on October 15 against Calgary.
The Blackhawks are scheduled to face off against the Seattle Kraken tonight at Climate Pledge Arena. The game will begin at 7:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on CHSN, with radio coverage available on WGN Radio.
