KeKe Palmer, Larenz Tate, and Mathew Knowles visited Chicago to provide free financial advice at the Wealth Building Summit. The event was held at the University of Illinois Chicago Forum on Saturday. Its aim was to educate attendees on how to build and maintain their finances.

ABC7’s Samantha Chatman served as one of the emcees for the summit. She spoke exclusively with KeKe Palmer, a native of Robbins, who expressed her pleasure in returning home.

The summit was hosted by City Treasurer Melissa Conyears Ervin and has become a well-attended annual event, attracting thousands each year.
