Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM) has announced the appointment of Sunitha C. Thomas, CFA, as the co-head of their newly established Wealth Client Group. Thomas will be responsible for enhancing NTAM's engagement with Northern Trust Wealth Management clients and strengthening its position within the intermediary wealth management sector. According to a press release by Northern Trust, Thomas will report to Northern Trust Asset Management President Daniel Gamba.

Thomas brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She has previously held leadership positions in Wealth Advisory Services and served as an Associate Director of Equity Research at Northern Trust Global Investments. Additionally, she has worked at other financial firms such as Putnam Investments, Fidelity Investments, and SEI Investments, including an expatriate assignment in Hong Kong. Thomas is actively involved in various committees at Northern Trust, including the Investment Policy Committee and the Employee Benefit Investment Committee.
