Presented by Meesha Gardner of O'Meesha's Catering and O’Meesha’s Enterprises LLC, there will be an Inaugural Business Networking Outdoor Pop Up and Concert hosted in Dolton Park District at the end of the month. In anticipation for the upcoming event, Chicago business leader Jeff Coleman speaks highly of all that the day will have to offer as well as all that Meesha has done in her career and in her community.
"Meesha is a world class songstress with an incredible flare for the culinary arts," Coleman told the Southland Marquee. "Meesha being a serial entrepreneur and successful business woman, understands the importance of community development through business networking and came up with the concept of launching the first of a series of pop up events."
The Inaugural Business Networking Outdoor Pop Up and Concert event, presented by Meesha, will be held on Sunday, July 30, noon to 8 p.m. in Dolton Park. Community members are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs to sit and enjoy event activities and entertainment.
According to Coleman, throughout the day, there will be live entertainment and talent performances, raffle giveaways, activities for the children, and scholarships given out to students to help alleviate some of the financial components of education. As part of the event, free haircuts at Larry’s Barber Colleges will be offered Tuesday, July 25.
Featured artists of the day include Soul & Street Collective, a soul, blues and R&B concert band consisting of 3 female vocalists, Sonja, Meesha & Andrea. Additionally, Lady Lunchabell will be the featured comedian and other guest performances include Javon Watson, Jo & Company, and Jaleal.
The mission of O’Meesha’s Enterprises LLC is to integrate entertainment, multimedia, and community business development throughout the Chicagoland area, Coleman said. The company prides itself on meeting the business communities where they are and working to address specific needs and expectations to help them grow. Community business building is their primary goal, and the focus is to bring people together and create a sense of economic togetherness.
